Ignatieff's No-Decision Decision

The logic behind the position put forward by Michael Ignatieff in Ottawa today seems to go something like this:

The Liberals have been getting lots of free attention from the press over their threat to force an election. For them, that's good. It puts the focus on Mr. Ignatieff, creates the impression of action and forces the Prime Minister to respond.
