The prospect of oil has revived old grievances over the Falkland Islands. This time around, Britain faces the wrath of 32 Latin American and Caribbean countries whose leaders offered Buenos Aires their full support yesterday in its territorial dispute with London. The high-powered sabre-rattling at the Mexico summit was prompted by the actions of a British oil exploration company, which on Monday began drilling offshore in waters that Argentina regards as its own.
