India Displays a Protestant Ethic

On his first visit to India, Barack Obama made the point that while Americans had died during the 26/11 attacks on Indian soil, Indians died in the 9/11 attacks on American soil. One might add, in the same vein, that the current US president sees India's potential, and understands the aspirations of young Indians, better than most Indian leaders do.
