UK Labour Mulls Decision on Miliband

It’s not looking good for Ed Miliband. The Telegraph’s scoop last week was a reminder that the Labour Party is a factious institution, prone to regicide, and there are several plots afoot to unseat the current leader. Rumours that David Miliband is manouvering behind the scenes to undermine his brother are so widespread that he’s been forced to issue a denial. I think we can take it as a given that Ed Balls is up to his neck in all sorts of intrigues  – as Fraser Nelson said yesterday, plotting and scheming is his way of saying hello – and the fact that someone passed Balls’s private papers to the Telegraph could be evidence of a third plot.
