Morocco's Commendable Move Toward Democracy

The Arab spring is having a few unhappy sequels in Syria, Libya and Yemen. In contrast, the King of Morocco, Mohammed VI, is shrewdly bringing in limited constitutional reforms, although there is not a strong or widespread demand for them; he is anticipating the future – not reacting ineptly to the present, like President Bashar al-Assad of Syria.
