The World Economic Forum has been publishing its Global Competitiveness Report every year for the past 32 years. This year we have teamed up with Google to share the data from the past 7 years in the Google Public Data Explorer."‹
The public data explorer makes large data sets easy to explore, visualize and communicate. The data from the Global Competitiveness Report can be displayed as line graphs, bar graphs, cross sectional plots or on maps. Of particular interest are the animated scatter plots such as this chart comparing the performance of countries in terms of government efficiency versus corruption.
