Stephen Harper Faces 'Nixonian Moment'

Today, the Conservative party is in the grips of a robocall controversy that is threatening to become a major scandal. This kind of political phone calling used to be called demon dialing, and for the Tories, at the moment at least, that is a more apt description of this obtrusive campaign technique. For it is as though a demon from hell is threatening to shake the foundations of this Harper majority, so long in the making and now so seemingly fragile.
