Tweets and Riots Won't Stop Assad

It has been slightly over a year since demonstrations against the regime of Bashar al-Assad began in Syria. They were seen by western observers as part of the Arab Spring that began in Tunisia in December 2010. Eventually, they would end tyranny in Syria. They haven't yet.
