In an increasingly insular, selfish and fearmongering world, Norway distinguishes itself in many ways - its commitments to peace, helping the world's poor and environmental sustainability are just three of them. All of this while being in the lucky position to have oil and gas reserves nearby.
But it is Norway's determination to have equal participation of women in society that really sets it apart from most of the rest of the world.
