Ireland Should Be More Like Iceland

This tiny Nordic state may have a population of only 320,000 but it is far ahead of Ireland when it comes to putting women into parliament and positions of authority. Unfortunately its stance on mackerel is far less visionary. Maybe Iceland needs to send more women out on the fishing boats to see for themselves how their country's violation of the mackerel quotas are jeopardising the future of this precious fish.
