Quebec's Dangerous Language Debate

To deny Quebec citizens - new, old, or otherwise - the democratic right to participate in our political process simply because they may not be able to pass a French test runs counter to the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, the Quebec Charter of Human Rights and Freedoms and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
