Iran's Way Out of Hyperinflation

A fifty eighth country will soon have to be added to the brilliant Hanke-Krus hyperinflation table, which documents every known case of hyperinflation to have taken place in the last century. That country is Iran, which according to Steve Hanke, professor of applied economics at The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, is now experiencing price inflation of close to 70pc a month.
