Congratulations to Labour's Chaun Wilson, who last night won the by-election to represent East Brighton on the city council. Congratulations too to young Joe Miller, who held onto second place for the Conservatives. One more heave, Joe!

And special congratulations to the third-placed Greens, helping to split that Left-wing vote.
