Look North for Warming Warnings

SOMEHOW the idea has taken hold in some circles that the issue of climate change has been, well, all a bit overheated. Sceptics still insist climate models are not reliable and measured temperature rises have levelled off. Tough economic times also seem to have sapped the political will to act, and UN climate change talks in Doha are damned by expectations of another failure. Yet, out in the real world of warming, the changes are even faster than scientists feared.
