Canada Should Be Open to U.S. Missile Defense

There are all sorts of reasons why Canada should be leery of a reported invitation by the United States to participate in an anti-ballistic missile shield that would protect North America. Such an initiative, for instance, is bound to be costly and could whip up concerns of nuclear arms escalation as some nations complained of our defensive advantage.
