FIFA Has a Terrorism Problem

Qatar’s affinity for the Muslim Brotherhood—and especially its Palestinian chapter Hamas–is well known. In 2000 when King Abdullah II closed the organization’s Amman offices, Doha offered top Hamas officials sanctuary. Then, three years ago after Hamas fled its Damascus haven, the group’s leadership again relocated to Qatar. More recently, in 2012 Qatar pledged $400 million to the cash-strapped Hamas theocrats in control of Gaza.
