The Age of London's Oligarchs Is Ending

When a friend asked me to pick up her daughter from school recently, I had to squeeze past three black gleaming Mercs parked outside the gates. Russian blared onto the Belgravia street. Men in suits sat inside. Their shaved heads and ear-pieces told me these men were not Daddy picking up Princess. No: as my friend later confirmed, they were bodyguards who accompanied Russian oligarchs’ children to and from school.
