Prince Charles Is Right About Putin

Charles, Prince of Wales, on a four-day Canadian tour, has sparked controversy around the world — particularly back at home in Britain — with comments reportedly made to a woman in Halifax. Britain’s The Daily Mail reports that the Prince spoke with a Canadian woman, Marienne Ferguson. Ms. Ferguson’s immediate ancestors, who were Jews, fled Poland before the German invasion, but some of her extended family did not, and were caught up in German invasion. In reply, the Prince is said to have commented that, “And now Putin is doing just about the same as Hitler.”
