Now that his inaction has caused the war to spill over into neighboring Iraq and continue to endanger and destabilize Jordan, the president has decided it’s time to send something more effective than meals-ready-to-eat and night vision goggles to the moderates who are now fighting a two-front war against Syrian despot Bashar Assad and against the jihadists of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, or ISIS. It is the latter who have taken their battle across the border, gobbling up huge swaths of territory in Iraq.
