If the UN Security Council’s call for a ceasefire is to have any credibility and impact, all 15 countries that supported it, including Jordan, the only Arab member, must make no bones about Hamas’s clear culpability. Failure to place the blame for the conflict squarely where it belongs will only prolong it, leading to the deaths of more innocent bystanders.
