Advocates of a ceasefire, a two-state solution and justice for the Palestinian people are right. The distress and suppression of these overwhelmingly innocent human beings should not be allowed to continue. It would stop swiftly if Hamas, the terrorist organisation in control of Gaza, faced facts and developed a conscience about using Palestinian children as weapons. Preferably, the Palestinians should oust Hamas and replace it with a pragmatic leadership with their interests at heart.
