Here is a simple corrective for any gullible youngster you know who has fallen for Jeremy Corbyn’s socialist siren song. Buy them a copy of The Great Terror by Robert Conquest, the wonderful historian of communism who died this week. It won’t cure them of the Left-wing virus, but discovering the full horror of life in the Soviet Union in the Thirties and Forties may at least jolt them out of their ideological stupor.
