Sadly, Momentum’s supporters are wrong. Yes, there are many people on the Left who view the establishment of the new group as a genuine opportunity to bottle the excitement and enthusiasm of the Corbyn Summer. They may be a touch misguided, but their intentions are sound. But it’s equally clear that those behind the group have a different agenda. Their intentions are essentially to make Momentum a party within a party. Momentum spelt M-I-L-I-T-A-N-T.
