It's futile to claim which "Taiwan Consensus" can lead Taiwan to maintain the current status quo, because Chinese unification is a historical inevitability like the unification of Danelaw in England or of Normandy in France. It took more than a couple of hundred years to effect the British unification of Viking Danelaw or the French unification of Northman Normandy. Totally unified they became, for it was irresistible and necessary.
