Anxious Asian Leaders Eye U.S. Politics

So far, the South China Sea has not figured much in the U.S. presidential campaigns but, for Southeast Asians, there is a lot riding on the election outcome next November. If the U.S. decides to withdraw from the region, then the countries there, including U.S. allies, will have little choice but to bend with the wind and accommodate China.
