Jordan
Much like the Palestinian Territories, Jordan's low opinion of the United Nations stems in part from events surrounding the end of the British mandate and frustration over a lack of peace. Jordan is home to a large population of Palestinian refugees who are administered by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA). Jordanian officials have locked horns with the U.N. in the past over whether these refugees will be afforded "the right of return" or whether they will be permanently housed in Jordan - something the Hashemite Kingdom has publicly opposed but which UNRWA officials have hinted is the most likely outcome.
