Brazil just overtook the U.S. with a 46 percent favorability rating while enjoying considerably lower negatives (only 21 percent of respondents felt Brazil's global influence was negative). Still, the country's negative rating grew three percentage points over last year. Brazil failed to impress its counterparts in the BRICS -- India produced the fewest positive responses of any country surveyed. NAFTA countries, on the other hand, held a more positive view.
