Clemency in Iran?
A photo released by state-run Press TV shows Iranian 43-year-old Sakineh Mohammadi-Ashtiani, who has been sentenced to death by stoning for adultery, standing with her son Sajjad in the courtyard of their house in the city of Osku, northwestern Iran. Iranian television released pictures of Mohammadi-Ashtiani at the centre of an outcry over her sentence ahead of a broadcast on Friday in which it said she would re-enact the murder of her husband.
