Lockerbie Bomber's Likely Release Sparks Outcry
The UK government is considering the release of a former Libyan agent found guility in the the 1983 bombing of Pan Am flight 103 which crashed into Lockerbie, Scotland, killing 270 people. Despite pleas from the victims' families that the former agent be kept in prison, the government contends that his deteriorating health situation is adequate grounds for release.
