Power Struggle in Afghan Politics
As Afghanistan prepares to go to the polls, three major ethnic groups in the north of the country - the Tajiks, the Uzbeks and the Hazara - are vying for a key role in local and national politics. Each group is looking for the candidate who is likely to bolster their status by granting them more privileges and powers.
