India's BJP Faces Post-Election Infighting
Facing excommunication from his own party, BJP leader Arun Shourie decided to preempt his rivals by blasting his own party's president and its other leaders. With the BJP wracked by internal struggle, the ruling Congress Party and Prime Minister Singh will feel less pressure from the more conservative elements of the opposition.
