Civilian Cost of Afghan War
In Afghanistan, attacks on US and coalition forces using Improvised Explosive Devices, known as IEDs, are 50% more frequent than three years ago. But in a country where war is fought in the midst of the civilian population, IED casualties are often Afghan civilians.
