Samantha Power: The Building of Settlements Has to Stop, UN "Way Out of Whack" on Israel

United States Ambassador to the United Nations told PBS correspondent Judy Woodruff, "The [abstention on vote against Israel's settlement building policy] was hard because the institution has been biased against Israel, does have 18 resolutions in the General Assembly against Israel and one against Syria. I mean things are way out of whack at the UN on Israel."

She then added, "If a two-state solution stands a chance of coming to pass and allowing Israel and the people of Palestine to live in security and dignity side by side, the building has to stop, and the incitement has to stop, and the violence has to stop."
