President Trump Guarantees He Will Build Border Wall In First Term

Speaking to reporters in the White House Tuesday afternoon, President Trump *guaranteed* that the Mexican border wall will be built during his first term.

"The wall is going to get built, and we are setting rcod numbers in terms of stopping people from comig in... I was just with [DHS] Secretary Kelly a little while ago, and he said we definitely, desperately, need the wall," he said. "The wall gets built. 100%. Thank you very much... Soon. We're already hiring, doing plans, doing specifications, and the wall gets built."

"The wall is very, very important," he repeated. "Plenty of time."
