North Korea and Burma Dig In

The Democratic Voice of Burma (DVB), a group of expatriates located in Norway, posted pictures of the tunnels on their Web site on June 24. They are nothing like the cramped holes that run along the American-Mexican border or that poke out of Gaza. These tunnels are massive: with electricity, ventilation, wide pathways for vehicles, and reinforced concrete. They number anywhere between 600 and 800. The tunnels of Iwo Jima look primitive by comparison.
