It appears that the world has been rescued from economic ruination following years of Wall Street criminality and the unbridled American credit rampage.
The good news is that these efforts were the result of an unprecedented, and grand, collaboration of nations. Central bankers and policy experts held sway and the politicians inked deals that were, in some cases, unpopular or difficult to impose at home. But they did.
