Everyone in Asia will be talking about Beijing's arrogance. In the last half year, Chinese officials, both in public pronouncements and in private conversations, have been displaying a new-found assertiveness--as if they own the century. They just dressed-down Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper. Even if he deserved it--he didn't--Beijing's officials would never have done that before. In 2010, they will become insufferable. Asians, especially, will begin complaining.
