This was one WikiLeaks strand that nobody repeated with full confidence. Who were these secondhand sources slipping Nato bizarre allegations? Maybe freelance storytellers, maybe Afghanistan's own intelligence officers. Maybe Chinese/Iranian/Indian secret agents. Welcome to a cesspit of cynicism and calculation.
