LABOR is facing the fight of its life.
As Paul Kelly has stated, a loss in this election is unthinkable. "The entire reputation of modern Labor is now on the block." When you're in a situation like this, with your back to the wall, there's only one thing you can do: draw down on your character and belief system for one last moral effort. This is Julia Gillard's task.
This is something Labor doesn't do often enough. The Liberals certainly never tire of talking about their values. In fact Tony Abbott's campaign launch speech gave us little else. We don't actually know what he plans to do in government, but we know broadly what he'd like to do.
