Irish Government Nears Collapse

DUBLIN—Ireland's ruling Fianna Fail party's grip on power became even more tenuous Monday after its junior coalition partner said it would pull out of the government in the new year.

Political troubles grew for Ireland's ruling coalition while investors remained concerned about government debt levels across the euro zone following Dublin's agreement to accept an international rescue package.
