Arabs also should not be judged according to the unsubstantiated fear that their revolts or revolutions might one day emulate the Iranian pattern. It is ethically unfair and politically counter-productive to withhold support for freedom-seeking Arabs because Iranians for their own reasons turned their revolution into authoritarian rule.
