While Liberal leader Justin Trudeau might play well with downtown voters in cities like Vancouver and Toronto, once he steps away from the skyscrapers, he faces a different world entirely — one that still overwhelmingly favours Stephen Harper. The reason for this remains one of the great advantages for the Conservatives in the next federal election, which is set for October 2015. Namely, the massive number of Canadians who live in suburban neighbourhoods.
