The recent parliamentary elections in Israel were a political milestone for the Arab-Palestinian minority. All central and active political parties and forces, despite their divergent ideologies, political differences, and disagreements, joined together on a single electoral list that won thirteen seats in the Knesset. As was promised to its supporters during the campaign, the Joint List is now the Knesset’s third largest bloc—a first for the Arab minority.
