Will Turks Vote to Keep Democracy?

For Erdoğan’s plan to work, the AK Party must capture at least 330 out of the 550 seats in parliament (a 3/5 majority) in order to call a referendum to change the constitution. To achieve this majority, the AK Party must win at least 43 percent of the popular vote and the Kurdish People’s Democratic Party (HDP) would have to remain out of parliament.
