Without doubt, the publication of the 2025 US National Security Strategy signals more than a policy shift; it marks a profound reorientation in Washington’s doctrine of power for the twenty-first century. Security is no longer understood through the lens of military predominance alone. It is increasingly defined by the ability to govern strategic flows, from logistics corridors, and maritime chokepoints to critical minerals, digital infrastructures, and resilient industrial ecosystems.
