Le Pen On Paris Attack: "Nothing Is Being Done, Citizens Are Not Safe"

Right wing French presidential candidate Marine Le Pen responds to the shooting of a Paris police officer by a suspected Islamist terrorist less than three days before the first round of that country's presidential election.

"My feeling is that nothing is being done, and our citizens are not safe," she said according a translation provided by FRANCE-24. "We need a plan to fight Islamist terrorism with new measures, and with borders, and to fight the ideology that is at the root of all of this."
