Senator Graham's bad idea.
Maybe, if Lindsey Graham has his way:

Graham, who two years ago spent a pleasant time visiting Tripoli and discussing with Qaddafi the possibility of providing military aid, now is relentlessly beating the war drums for U.S. and NATO escalation. And he views Libya as a template for military action elsewhere. Appearing on CBSâ??s Face the Nation, he declared: â??If it made sense to protect the Libyan people against Qaddafi, and it did, . . . the question for the world is have we gotten to that point in Syria?â? Graham, a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, added: â??We may not be there yet, but weâ??re getting very close.â? He explained: â??It has gotten to the point where Qaddafiâ??s behavior and Assadâ??s behavior are indistinguishable . . . You need to put on the table all options, including a model like we have in Libya.â?Â'
At the risk of sounding "isolationist" let's just point out that the Libyan "model" has yet to produce the desired results and the tab continues to grow. Why this option would be "on the table" is beyond me.
